STATEMENT
“I believe art is inherently political. If it isn’t, it risks becoming mere ornament. I work mainly with sculpture and installation to examine how social norms, ideological structures, and systems of value are produced, enforced, and internalized. My practice takes a clear political and artistic stance: it challenges entrenched social conventions, questions restrictive ideologies, and advocates for a more inclusive and equitable future. It draws from situated experience, including queer subjectivity and affective memory, and addresses the social issues I encounter, creating a form of “activism through art”.”
